Feaures of Perilla Extract
Perilla Extract has been proven to act on multiple points in the pathway of allergic reactions. Allergies cause excessive reactions to pollen, mites, and food by producing specific antibodies IgE (immunoglobulin E). Perilla Extract suppresses allergic symptoms by reducing the production of IgE.
In addition, IgE-attached mast cells react continuously to newly invading pollen and other substances, secreting chemical transmitters (histamine and leukotriene) that cause sneezing and runny nose symptoms, TNF-α that causes inflammation, and other physiologically active substances. Perilla Extract suppresses allergic symptoms by inhibiting the secretion of histamine, and prevents symptoms from becoming severe or chronic by inhibiting the production of TNF-α.
